Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all purchases of NeuraBayt Pro subscriptions made through neurabayt.com. We want you to be satisfied with your purchase, and this policy describes when and how you can request a refund or cancel your subscription.
1. Subscription Plans
NeuraBayt offers the following paid plans:

All payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as the Merchant of Record (MoR) for our transactions. As the MoR, Dodo Payments is the legal entity of record on your payment statement, handles tax collection and remittance, and processes all refunds.
2. Refund Period
14-Day Money-Back Guarantee: You may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase date — no questions asked. This applies to both monthly and yearly plans.
Refund requests received after the 14-day guarantee period but within 30 days of the transaction date will only be considered in cases of technical defects, billing errors, or access failures attributable to NeuraBayt. Refunds cannot be processed for transactions older than 30 days, as this is the maximum refund window supported by our payment processor.
Refunds outside the 14-day guarantee period are generally not provided, except as described above or where required by applicable law.
3. When We Grant Refunds
Beyond the 14-day guarantee, we will consider refunds in the following situations:
- Service defect: The Extension does not function as described due to a confirmed bug on our end that we cannot resolve within 5–7 business days
- Access failure: A technical issue on our side prevents you from accessing Pro features you paid for, and we are unable to fix it within a reasonable timeframe (typically 5–7 business days)
- Duplicate or erroneous charge: You were charged more than once for the same subscription or were billed in error
- Partial refund: Where only a portion of the service was delivered or a billing adjustment is warranted, a partial refund may be issued for the appropriate amount. Both full and partial refunds are supported by our payment processor
Prerequisite: Refunds can only be processed for payments that were successfully completed. Pending, failed, or incomplete transactions are not eligible for refund.
4. When Refunds Are Not Available
Refunds will not be granted in the following cases:
- Change of mind after the 14-day refund period
- Failure to use the Extension during your subscription period
- Issues caused by your browser, device, internet connection, or third-party software unrelated to NeuraBayt
- Your device does not meet the minimum requirements (Chrome version 128 or later)
- Changes in third-party platforms or APIs (including browser providers) that are outside our control and affect functionality (as disclosed in our Terms of Service)
- Your account was suspended or terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service
As our AI-powered features evolve, functionality may change over time. Refund eligibility will be evaluated based on whether core paid features were materially unavailable.
5. Subscription-Specific Details
5.1 Monthly Subscriptions
- Eligible for a full refund within 14 days of the initial purchase
- After 14 days, you may cancel anytime but no refund is issued for the current billing period
- Your Pro access remains active until the end of the paid period
5.2 Yearly Subscriptions
- Eligible for a full refund within 14 days of purchase
- After 14 days, no partial refunds are issued for unused months unless required by applicable law
- You may cancel anytime; your Pro access remains active until the end of the paid annual period
5.3 Renewal Charges
Subscription renewals are not eligible for refund unless the renewal was processed after you had already submitted a cancellation request before the renewal date. If a renewal charge occurs after cancellation, contact us and we will issue a full refund for that charge.
If you were charged for a renewal unintentionally, please contact us within 48 hours of the charge. We will review and may issue a refund where appropriate.
6. EU/EEA Right of Withdrawal
Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, consumers in the EU/EEA have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. Our 14-day money-back guarantee meets and fulfils this requirement.
If during checkout you expressly consented to immediate access to the digital content and acknowledged the loss of your withdrawal right, no refund is due after the content has been delivered. If you did not consent to immediate delivery, you may withdraw within 14 days of purchase for a full refund regardless of usage.

7. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
- Email us at support@neurabayt.com with the subject line "Refund Request"
- Include the email address associated with your NeuraBayt account
- Include your order or transaction ID (found in your purchase confirmation email)
- (Optional) Briefly describe the reason for your refund request
8. Refund Processing
- We will review your request and respond within 3–5 business days
- Approved refunds are processed through Dodo Payments to your original payment method
- Refunds typically appear in your account within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider
- Refunds are issued in USD. Any exchange rate differences or bank fees on international refunds are not within our control
- When a refund is processed, any associated taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax) are automatically adjusted by Dodo Payments
- Refunds can only be issued to the original payment method used for the transaction. We cannot process refunds to a different account, card, or payment method
8.1 When a Refund May Fail
In rare cases, a refund may not be processed successfully. This can happen if:
- The original payment is currently under an active dispute or chargeback
- There is an issue with the originating bank or payment provider
If your refund fails, we will notify you and work with you to find an alternative resolution.
9. How to Cancel Your Subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time. No cancellation fees apply.
Steps to cancel:
- Log in to your account and go to your Dashboard
- Click "Manage Subscription" to open the Dodo Payments billing portal
- Follow the prompts to cancel your subscription
After cancellation:
- Your Pro features remain active until the end of your current paid period
- You will not be charged for future billing cycles
- Your account reverts to the free tier (3 AI uses per day)
- You can resubscribe at any time
10. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks
If you have a concern about a charge, we strongly encourage you to contact us first at support@neurabayt.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company.
We can typically resolve billing issues within 3–5 business days — significantly faster than a chargeback process. Filing a chargeback without contacting us first may result in temporary suspension of your account during the dispute investigation.
10.1 How Disputes Are Handled
Because Dodo Payments is the Merchant of Record, any formal chargebacks or payment disputes are filed against Dodo Payments — not against NeuraBayt directly. Dodo Payments manages the dispute response process, including submitting evidence to banks and handling representment.
If a dispute is filed, we may be asked by Dodo Payments to provide supporting evidence such as proof of access, usage logs, or communication records. We will cooperate fully with the dispute resolution process.
10.2 Visa Rapid Dispute Resolution (RDR)
For Visa transactions, our payment processor supports Visa's Rapid Dispute Resolution (RDR) program. Eligible low-value disputes may be automatically resolved with a refund before they escalate to a formal chargeback. This protects both you and us from the delays and costs of the traditional dispute process.
10.3 Refund Abuse
We reserve the right to deny refund requests in cases of abuse, fraud, or excessive refund activity. Patterns of repeated refund requests, chargebacks, or other behaviour indicative of misuse may result in the suspension or termination of your account.
