Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and NeuraBayt AI Solutions ("NeuraBayt," "we," "us," or "our"). They govern your access to and use of the NeuraBayt Chrome extension (the "Extension") and website at neurabayt.com (the "Website"). Together, the Extension and Website are referred to as the "Service."

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service.

1. Definitions

• "Service" — The NeuraBayt Chrome extension and the website at neurabayt.com, including all features, tools, and content provided
• "Extension" — The NeuraBayt Chrome browser extension available from the Chrome Web Store
• "User," "You," "Your" — Any individual or entity that accesses or uses the Service
• "Pro Subscription" — The paid tier of the Service offering unlimited daily AI uses and additional features
• "Content" — Any text you input into the Extension for processing

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. If you are between 13 and 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

By creating an account or using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

3. Description of Service

NeuraBayt is an AI-powered Chrome extension that processes text locally on your device using Chrome's built-in AI APIs. Features include:

• Summarize — Generate concise summaries of selected text or entire pages
• Translate — Translate text between supported languages
• Chat / Prompt — Interact with on-device AI for writing assistance
• Analyse — Sentiment analysis and bias detection on text
• TL;DR — Full-page summarization

All AI processing happens locally on your device. Your text content is never sent to our servers.

4. Third-Party Platform Dependency

By using NeuraBayt, you acknowledge that:

• Feature availability depends on Chrome's AI APIs and your Chrome version (128 or later required)
• API changes by Google may affect functionality, and we are not liable for such impacts
• We will make reasonable efforts to adapt to API changes but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service

NeuraBayt is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google. Chrome is a trademark of Google LLC.

5. User Accounts

To access Pro features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
• Notify us immediately at support@neurabayt.com if you suspect unauthorised access
• Not share, transfer, or sell your account or Pro subscription to another person

We reserve the right to suspend or disable accounts that we reasonably believe are being used in violation of these Terms.

6. Subscriptions & Billing

6.1 Free Tier

The free tier provides up to 3 AI uses per day at no cost. No payment information is required.

6.2 Pro Subscription

• Monthly plan: $2.99 USD per month
• Yearly plan: $24.99 USD per year

Prices are displayed in US Dollars. All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise at checkout. We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' prior notice; existing subscribers will not be affected until their next renewal cycle after the notice period.

All payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as our Merchant of Record. We do not store your credit card details. By making a purchase, you also agree to Dodo Payments' terms of service. For refunds and cancellations, please see our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

7. Right of Withdrawal (EU/EEA Consumers)

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, consumers in the EU/EEA have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from distance contracts.

When you purchase a Pro subscription and request immediate access to the Service, you will be asked to expressly consent to the performance beginning before the withdrawal period expires. By giving this consent, you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the digital content is delivered.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or discriminatory
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or extract source code from the Extension
• Circumvent, disable, or manipulate subscription verification, licensing, or usage-limit systems
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to abuse the Service
• Share, resell, sublicense, or redistribute your Pro subscription access
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or degrade the performance of the Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the violation.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service — including its design, code, features, branding, and documentation — is owned by NeuraBayt AI Solutions and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your Content: You retain full ownership of any text you input into the Extension. Since all processing happens locally on your device, we never access, store, or claim rights over your content.

10. AI Output Disclaimer

The Service does not provide legal, financial, medical, or professional advice. Any AI-generated output is for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional consultation.

11. Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, modify, and incorporate that feedback into the Service without any obligation to you.

12. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party sites.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to Pro features:

• For cause: Immediately, if you breach these Terms, engage in fraud, or violate applicable law
• For convenience: With 30 days' written notice via email

Upon termination:

• Your Pro features will cease at the end of the current paid period (unless terminated for cause)
• The free tier of the Extension will continue to function
• You may request deletion of your account data by emailing us

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NeuraBayt AI Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from:

• Your use of, or inability to use, the Service
• Any inaccuracy in AI-generated output
• Unauthorised access to or alteration of your data
• Any errors, bugs, or interruptions in the Service
• Changes to Chrome's AI APIs that affect the Service's functionality

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or $50 USD, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud or gross negligence.

15. "As Is" Disclaimer

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.

16. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless NeuraBayt AI Solutions, its founder, and its service providers from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) to the extent arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights.

17. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, nothing in these Terms limits or overrides your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence.

18. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises, you agree to first attempt to resolve it informally by contacting us at support@neurabayt.com. We will make good-faith efforts to resolve any issue within 30 days.

Users outside the EU/EEA/UK: If informal resolution fails, both parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, India.

Users in the EU/EEA/UK: You may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence. You may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform.

19. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, internet outages, third-party API deprecations (including changes to Chrome's built-in AI APIs), or failures of third-party service providers.

20. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice before the new terms take effect, via email or through the Website. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.

If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you may cancel your subscription and discontinue use of the Service before the effective date.

21. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

22. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and NeuraBayt AI Solutions regarding the Service, and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
